Mountain mint, Bergminze, Menthe de montagne. Aromatic herb with a rich flavour and very fragrant grey-green foliage. It was grown as culinary and medical herb but nowadays more as ornamental plant. Calamintha nepeta flowers easily in the first year of sowing with many small lilac to white flowers, all summer long till late in the autumn. The flowers attract all kinds of bees and butterflies.
